Youth are the future of this Game! Let’s Get them INVOLVED! It is Geometry, Physics, Strategy, Physical Coordination and Mental Stamina. It is also a Safe Lifelong Recreational Activity that is Inclusive and Accessible - Everything our young people need. We need them to keep the Sport Alive!
Impact Billiards is the only Edmonton league that allows Juniors in our regular league play.
Playing League as a Junior:
In Edmonton, we have four divisions of play to choose from supporting beginner to expert level players. The Monday Night Novice Division is the natural place for juniors to start learning about the game and the league. For those that are more experienced they may choose to play in a higher division.
Over the years we have had and currently have numerous juniors and young people joining.
Initially, most join with their parents or families but once they get to know all the players, they have been asked to play on other teams with players that are excited about mentorship.

Youth Night Starting September 2026
This league was created with the DREAM of being able to support youth and juniors in this beautiful game. Spaces they can play and table availability were roadblocks but we are very pleased that there are now 3 places to host Juniors!
In both Edmonton and Fort McMurray there are league coordinators that are (or were) Phys Ed teachers. We will blend that background with our passion for Billiards and help young folks develop their skills in the game and ediquette around the table! We also have some enthusiastic parents and high level players that are excited to help out!
YOUTH NIGHTS IN EDMONTON:
Primary Target Audience: Upper Elementary, Junior High & High School students.
Time: 5pm - 6:30pm Mondays
Place: Racks Billiards Room located on 99st and 48Ave.
Cost: $10 drop in rate OR $70 for 8 weeks.
Sessions:
Session 1: September 7th-October 26th, 2026
Session 2: November 2 - December 21st, 2026

As interest is gauged and increases, we intend to host juniors in all the locations they are allowed in. Juniors do not need to be in a league, everyone is welcome. We ask that youth under 16 are accompanied by an adult OR specific arrangements are made with the host. Please do not just drop a child off and leave. Thank you~
Locations for Juniors to Play
Located near Millwoods Town Center, this hall boasts 18 × 9ft tables and 8 × 7ft tables along with Ping Pong, Darts and arcade games. Juniors have always been welcome here!
Located on 99st between Whitemud & 51 Ave, this newly opened hall boasts 12 × 9ft tables and 10 × 7ft tables, all Predator. They host many leagues and events each week. They are excited to host Juniors this fall.
Located on Jasper Ave and 114st, the second floor of this pub has been converted into a little pool room with four Diamond Tables and allows minors. Some juniors have been attending the Sunday afternoon Tournaments.
Upcoming Events
The year we had a Junior Division, we took all that were interested to Red Deer to compete in the BCAPL Westerns. BCAPL always has a Junior event alongside the Amateur and PRO events so it was an incredible experience for everyone to see.
In the last year we have had 2 Juniors in our Gold Division. The young man in this photo is now a force on the tables! At this event he got to play Savanah Easton a Ladies Pro player who is also a Junior!
